Have you experienced the day, where everything feels like it is not working out for you?
You hit traffic and the phone calls and emails are piling up, or just something is not right.
The days where the harder you try, the more things just don’t work out in your favor; and you get frustrated.
It happened to me the other day, from the moment I woke up I felt like, ugh, something’s not right. My daughter probably sensed that I was not feeling okay, and she looked at me, she
said, "Mama, are you okay?" I responded, "Yeah, I'm okay."
But when I said “I'm okay”, I had the facial expression and the tone of my voice was not okay, but I just did not admit that.
Later when I had a reflection of my day, It suddenly hit me: It is OK to not be OK!
We don’t need to build up these walls and be perfect every moment. Some days are harder than others. Sometimes the smallest thing will set us off or bring us to tears.
This is a two-way street. Not only do each of us need to start being more honest about how we are feeling, as a community we need to accept that there will be days where others need some support or patience.
There's darkness, there's light, there's morning and night. We feel cold and hot, and sun and moon, and everything is just perfect!
It doesn't need to be always bright, it doesn't need to be always one way or the other. This is life.
