I went swimming with my new iPhone in the ocean! And if you ever questioned if you can swim with your iPhone well you can... but it's not waterproof so it's probably gonna get destroyed like mine did. I ended up having to sell my iPhone for parts on eBay and use the money towards a new iPhone. This was such an expensive fail and to be fair at the moment I really was feeling confident about Apple and their water resistance until I got out of the water and the phone just turned off. I still can't believe that I lost $1200 worth of iPhone in just a couple of minutes from a quick swim!
